Open Call for Applications, 2027- 28 Visual Arts Fellowships

Attention all Virginia artists and TAG Members - VMFA is currently accepting online applications for the 2027–28 Fellowship! Professional artists, graduate and undergraduate art students, graduate art history students, and college-bound high school seniors from every corner of Virginia are encouraged to apply.

The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Fellowship Program is a vital source of funding for the visual arts and art history in Virginia. Since the program's start in 1940, VMFA has awarded more than $6.5 million to Virginia’s artistic community.

The deadline to submit a 2027–28 application is 5 pm November 6, 2026.
